What We Do Best
The Backpacker Pubcrawl was started in 2002 by an inventive Canadian graduate student, who wanted to show fellow backpackers that there is more to Dublin than the routine tourist haunts. Since then we have grown and grown, and met a load of lovely people along the way. Backpacker Pubcrawl Galway was born in July 2009, bringing the exact same authentic experience to the West. We are currently running private tours only in Galway, so contact us for more details of what we can do for you.
Dublin and Galway are both amazing places, and have completely different personalities & characteristics, not to mention pubs! Our aim on the Backpacker Pubcrawl is to show you the best that these great cities have to offer, avoiding tourist traps and overpriced drinks, to give you an authentic night on the town. Our guides know these places like the backs of their hands, and they want to share their local knowledge with you so you can experience Ireland,
the way we do.
Booking is not necessary, you can just show up at the meeting point and we'll look after you, but you can avail of a 10% discount if you book and prepay online! See here for booking.
Guided by Inside Knowledge
On each pub crawl we bring you to 4 or 5 different bars, all within walking distance of each other (Joyce was right about a pub on every corner). We get some free shots and drink specials along the way, and end up in a club (or two) to finish the night in style.
Private Pubcrawls
We also organise private pubcrawls for larger groups who would like to stay together. These can take place day or night, depending on yourselves, and can be tailored to suit the needs of your particular group. Please contact us for more details.
